The Role
As Indie Campers' Senior Growth & Community Specialist, you will sit within the Growth team, reporting directly to the Growth Director and working closely with the CTO. Your mandate is to own Indie Campers' public reputation, foster a vibrant community, and enhance our brand presence.
What Will You Work On?
- Manage Indie Campers profiles and conversations on Reddit, Google Business Profile, Trustpilot, Trip
Advisor, and other platforms relevant to
- trip travelers. - Develop and implement playbooks to achieve over 95% response rate and a median response time of less than 24 hours on all public comments and reviews, utilizing automation tools.
- Liaise with the Customer Excellence team to ensure quick resolution of escalated issues and promote our Customer Manifesto externally.
- Analyze and set quarterly targets for global
- score KPIs (ratings and sentiment), and propose initiatives to improve scores. - Create
- building content such as blog posts,
- to articles, AMAs, and guest features to demonstrate transparency and expertise. - Develop
- analysis dashboards integrating data from reviews, social listening, and support tickets, providing weekly insights to relevant teams. - Launch and manage influencer, UGC, and ambassador programs to amplify positive stories authentically.
Who Are We Looking For?
- 5+ years of experience leading community management or online reputation programs for
- growth consumer tech or marketplace brands. - Proven success in improving ratings and sentiment on platforms like Reddit, GBP, Trustpilot, Trip
Advisor, and social support channels. - Strong analytical skills, familiarity with SQL basics, and experience with tools like Looker or Metabase for dashboard creation.
- Hands-on experience with social listening and automation platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, n8n, or Zapier.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Experience in crisis management and aligning brand voice across global teams.
- People leadership skills, including setting KPIs, mentoring, and fostering
- performance cultures. - Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing to maximize organic reach of trust content.
