GTM and Analytics Expert – Spiralyze
We’re looking for someone great to join our Analytics Team! Your primary task is to help internal and external clients add (complex) tracking and fix issues that arise. You will take extreme initiative and enthusiasm to get stuff done. You may not know how, but you figure it out by asking the right people, googling, and experimenting. You’re driven to set things up perfectly, but also practical enough to bake in some redundancy and provide “good enough data” when the perfect set‑up is not available. Good problem‑solving skills, able to break technical problems into manageable chunks, and execute.
Responsibilities include communicating with internal and external teams to win buy‑in, explain issues, and communicate progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement conversion tracking (forms, buttons, e‑commerce, and other events)
- Verify and sanity‑check conversion tracking implementation
- Debug tracking issues and fix them
- Check test measurement issues with Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, Hotjar
- Create customized reports from Analytics and other sources
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 2 years managing Google Tag Manager (GTM) for web properties (implementation, coding, testing, maintenance)
- At least 2 years experience with website analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA3/GA4)
- Basic knowledge of Java
Script - Proven experience in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Amplitude with deep understanding of digital analytics and web traffic metrics
- Strong knowledge in Web Analytics strategy, requirements, implementation, validation, reporting (especially with Google Analytics)
- Working knowledge of third‑party tagging, pixel creation, etc.
- Experience transitioning GA accounts from Universal Analytics to GA4
- Fluent in spoken and written English
