We are looking for a Hardware Test Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Embedded Electronics department as part of our Innovation Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Evaluating hardware requirements, schematics, and PCB layouts to define automated test cases for:

• Development / Prototype tests
• Type / Certification tests
• Routine / Production tests

• Developing software / firmware to interact with the system

• Temperature
• EMI/EMC
• Shock and Vibration
• Insulation

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Electronics Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in automated hardware testing
• Strong hardware debugging skills
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation (Oscilloscope, Source Meter, GPIO, Relays, Logic Analyzer, Frequency Generator and Counter, etc. )
• Knowledge in test automation using Python or other scripting languages
• Strong knowledge of analog circuits (Op-Amps, PLL, ADC and DAC converters, etc. )
• Knowledge of Power Electronics
• Experience with microcontrollers and FPGA testing
• Experience with standard serial interfaces (I2C, SPI, JTAG)
• Knowledge of embedded programming languages (Assembly, C/C++, Micro
  Python)
• Soldering capabilities
• Fluent English skills; German knowledge is a plus
