A Snapshot of Your Day
The Head of Project Services leads a multidisciplinary department of subject matter experts who provide governance, technical expertise, and analytical support across all construction projects globally. The Project Services team acts as a center of excellence within the Construction organization, supporting Project Managers through expert functions such as design, project controls, contract management, data management, quantity surveying, and governance. This leadership role ensures project execution excellence, promotes digital transformation, and fosters knowledge transfer across projects while driving sustainability and cost optimization.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead the Project Services department, guiding experts in design, project controls, contract management, data management, quantity surveying, and governance to ensure excellence in project delivery.
- Define and maintain governance frameworks, standards, and tools to drive consistency, compliance, and quality across all construction projects.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle — from concept and planning through execution and handover — ensuring targets for budget, schedule, quality, safety, and sustainability are met.
- Drive cost optimization and innovation by challenging conventional design and execution approaches to deliver efficient, modular, and sustainable solutions.
- Manage contract and claim processes, ensuring effective negotiation, compliance, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Champion digital transformation through integrated data environments, advanced reporting tools, and digital design practices (e. g. , BIM, digital twin, ACC), while fostering knowledge sharing and capability building across global teams.
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in managing
- scale industrial construction projects, with deep knowledge of construction contracts and CAPEX/OPEX optimization. - Strong technical and strategic understanding of industrial design, project governance, and cost efficiency.
- Proven leadership experience in international, matrixed environments, empowering diverse teams to deliver
- quality results. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English, with German and Portuguese as advantages.
- Highly collaborative, innovative, and
- focused leader with a structured, pragmatic, and
- oriented mindset.
