Head Golf Professional

In this role, you'll be stepping into a leadership position that blends both instruction and operations within our golf program. As Head Professional, you'll oversee the golf instruction side while also supporting the Director of Golf and the Golf Operations Manager in running the

- day activities. We're looking for someone who’s passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, creating fun and memorable experiences for our members, and driving the success of our sales and marketing efforts at Costa
Terra Golf & Ocean Club.

What you will do?

Instructional Responsibilities

• Develop and implement instructional programs for golfers of various skill levels, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
• Lead subordinate training and development programs.
• Supervise and mentor the instructional staff, providing guidance on teaching methods and techniques.
• Provide private and group lessons to golfers, ensuring personal attention and improvement.
• Actively participate in developing and maintaining coaching standards for the golf program.
• Monitor the progress of students, providing feedback and encouragement.
• Promote the golf instruction program and increase participation, both during peak and
  - seasons.
• Stay current on trends and techniques in golf instruction, continually improving knowledge and skills.
• Maintain relationships with members, ensuring satisfaction with the instruction program.

Operational Responsibilities

• Play golf with members and prospects as requested by the Golf Director.
• Oversee Golf Experience Coordinators and Shift Leaders, ensuring operational excellence and participation in daily duties.
• Assist the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager with implementing policies, scheduling, reporting, and purchase orders.
• Manage inventory control and operational stock levels.
• Take responsibility for various operational areas such as club fleet maintenance, tournament logistics, and practice facility operations.
• Assist the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager with budgeting, expense management, and event coordination.
• Support the Sales & Marketing team by giving tours, playing with prospects, and attending events.
