Bloq. It is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a Head of Accounting & Controlling to lead our accounting and controlling functions across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee timely recording, reconciliations, and journal entries for invoices, expenses, and accruals in collaboration with your accounting specialists;
  
  
  
  
• Ensure accurate recognition of revenue and costs in accordance with applicable accounting standards, including deferred revenue and contract liabilities;
  
  
  
  
• Manage full monthly payroll cycle and accounting on a group level in partnership with Accounting/Shared Services, including filings, reconciliations, and employee inquiries;
  
  
  
  
• Lead the monthly close for Portuguese and EU entities in partnership with Shared Services, ensuring accurate trial balances and adherence to
