Head of Affiliate Marketing
The Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and
- oriented Head of Affiliate Marketing to lead our affiliate program from the ground up. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategy, execution, and growth of a critical revenue channel. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and scaling successful affiliate programs in a B2B or
- commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy that aligns with our company’s revenue and growth objectives.
- Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a
- performing team of affiliate marketers to achieve and exceed performance targets. - Program Ownership: Manage the entire affiliate program, from partner recruitment and onboarding to ongoing optimization, ensuring the health and profitability of the channel.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for
- value strategic partners, negotiating deals, and fostering
- term, mutually beneficial relationships. - Performance Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs), track and analyze affiliate performance data, and provide regular, insightful reports to the executive team.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Own the affiliate marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and providing accurate forecasts for channel revenue.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure a cohesive strategy and seamless execution of campaigns.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the affiliate and performance marketing space.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of (e. g. , 5-7) years of experience in affiliate marketing, with at least (e. g. , 2-3) years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to develop and execute complex marketing strategies that drive tangible business results.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, and motivating a team.
- Analytical Skills: Highly
- driven with a deep understanding of performance marketing metrics (e. g. , CPA, LTV, ROI, conversion rates). - Negotiation: Exceptional negotiation and
- building skills. - Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of major affiliate networks (e. g. , Awin, CJ, Rakuten), affiliate tracking platforms, and analytics tools (e. g. , Google Analytics).
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Portuguese or other European languages is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive, resourceful, and capable of solving complex problems in a
- paced environment.
