Our mission is to increase confidence, credibility and certainty in real estate investment decisions — supporting rehabilitation, better deal structuring and increased housing supply, starting in Portugal and scaling globally .

We are looking for a Head of Product Engineering to own the intelligence, trust and depth of the product. This is a

What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

Own the AI & Decision Core

Lead and evolve the core AI systems that power:

-property sourcing & scoring

-investment and project analysis

-legal Q&A, due diligence and contract intelligence

Ensure models are trustworthy, explainable and conservative by design

Continuously reduce false positives and improve decision confidence

Build Hands-On

Design AI workflows using LLMs, prompting, structured outputs and tools

Write production code and collaborate closely with:

-Backend engineers

-Frontend engineers

-Data and infrastructure

Translate complex AI logic into usable product features

Product, Users & Trust

Build feedback loops, retention and
- forming mechanisms

Support and lead:

-onboarding

-demos

-workshops

-webinars

Clearly communicate how Casa
GPT supports — not replaces — human judgment

Cross-Functional Leadership

Work closely with:

-Commercial Director (conversion, ARPU, churn)

-Marketing (positioning, use cases, authority)

Ensure product decisions impact conversion, churn and ARPU

Act as a product and AI spokesperson when needed (talks, content, demos)

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Experience with LLMs and Generative AI systems

Strong background in AI algorithms and/or applied ML

Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP)

Experience with Computer Vision (or strong familiarity)

Previous experience building
- based systems / AI assistants

Strong
- on experience with:

-Node. js

-Git

Familiarity with React. js (Vue. js and/or Next. js)

Comfortable writing and reviewing
- grade code

CI/CD knowledge is a

Product & Domain Skills (Critical)

Ability to reason about:

Comfortable articulating problems and solutions across teams

Genuine interest in real estate and investment , e. g. :

-bought or sold property

-rented or managed assets

-invested or planning to invest

Curiosity about regulation, feasibility and deal structuring

Preferred Profile

Mid–Senior , ideally with a Master’s degree (AI, CS, Engineering or similar)

Experience building products or projects from scratch

Startup, consultancy or internal venture background valued
