The Role
We’re looking for a visionary Head of Creative Production - Non-Game Mobile Apps to lead the creative direction of our user acquisition campaigns and branding efforts. In this foundational role, you’ll build and lead a
- performing creative team while staying
- on with design and motion graphics. You’ll shape the creative identity of our apps and collaborate
- functionally to ensure every campaign blends performance with artistic excellence.
What You'll Do
Creative Leadership & Execution (70%)
Define and own the overarching creative marketing strategy across digital channels (Meta, Tik
Tok, You
Tube, Google, etc. )
Take an active role in
- on execution as we build our dream team. Build, mentor, and manage a team of marketing artists, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
Roll up your sleeves and contribute to the production of performance marketing creatives, including motion videos, UGC-integrated ads, static assets, and branded visuals
Contribute to and oversee the creation of
- catching visuals for mobile app marketing campaigns, including motion graphics, static assets, and branding elements. Integrate UGC (User-Generated Content) with real people and AI-generated visuals to craft seamless,
- level consumer experiences.
Stay ahead of design trends, platform updates, and emerging creative styles to ensure Joyo
Labs remains at the forefront of the industry.
Ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints, from ad creatives to app store assets
Collaboration & Optimization (30%)
Work closely with the marketing team to translate data into actionable design strategies
Analyze campaign performance and lead iterative creative testing cycles
Manage external creative vendors to ensure timely,
- quality deliverables
Educate internal stakeholders on design principles and performance creative best practices
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience leading creative teams, in
- game mobile app environments
Strong motion graphics portfolio with performance marketing focus
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Hands-on experience with AI creative tools (Arcads, Heygen, Captions, Runway, Eleven
Labs etc. )
Experience in competitor creative search in Meta, Tiktok ad libraries and Sensor Tower
Deep understanding of creative strategies for Meta, Tik
Tok, and Google Ads for mobile apps
Strong analytical mindset — able to interpret performance data and iterate quickly
Track record of delivering successful ad creatives that drove user acquisition at scale
Nice to Have
Branding or UI/UX design experience, storefront assets
Prior work with international creative localization
Familiarity with ASO, ASA (App Store Optimization and Apple Search Ads Keyword Analysis)

Working Style
We're a
- only company (ideally GMT to GMT+3)
Regular In-Person Collaboration :
We believe that forming and norming relationships in a nascent business has to include regular
- person time. We plan to meet in person every 2 months or more frequently, for one week at a time. We will arrange the logistics and pay for accommodation/travel costs, but it's important that you commit to attending these colocation weeks
Commitment to Impact :
Working too many hours doesn't guarantee success, but working too few leads to failure. We expect everyone to put in their best effort every day, but we don't expect you to work late evenings or on weekends regularly (though it does definitely happen sometimes!). We are careful to avoid burnout, but we also don't want to sugarcoat the fact that raw hours can make a huge difference in a startup
