ROLE SUMMARY:

Pa
RK International School, a member of the global Inspired Education Group, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Core Physical Education (PE) to lead the development and delivery of an exceptional PE curriculum from Early Years through Grade 12. This is an exciting opportunity to join a
- thinking school that places student wellbeing and holistic education at the centre of its mission. The successful candidate will inspire a love of movement and health, lead a passionate team of educators, and promote physical literacy across the school community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the strategic development and delivery of the Core PE curriculum across the school.

Foster a
- performance culture among the PE teaching team through coaching, mentoring, and clear goal setting.

Ensure inclusive and engaging PE provision for all students, with a focus on wellbeing and physical literacy.

Oversee the planning and assessment of PE lessons, ensuring alignment with
- school objectives.

Collaborate with Heads of Year and the Extended Curriculum team to align PE with broader educational goals.

Promote and track student participation in physical activity and celebrate sporting achievement across all year groups.

Lead on safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion within the department, ensuring a safe learning environment.

Work with Senior Leadership to develop and implement department improvement plans.

Maintain strong communication with parents and stakeholders, sharing the vision and impact of Core PE.

Champion innovation in PE, including the use of technology, data, and student feedback to continuously enhance delivery.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

A recognised teaching qualification and proven experience leading PE in a school setting.

Strong knowledge of physical development across childhood and adolescence.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.

International teaching experience is a strong advantage.
