We are in search of a Head of Electronics & Embedded Engineering to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you will drive the structured execution of our electronics and embedded systems to ensure every board, firmware, and integrated system is delivered on time, with quality, and ready to scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the full hardware+firmware execution lifecycle, from schematics and PCB development to firmware integration and release readiness
• Lead and support the Embedded and Electronics teams, coaching team leads, driving prioritization, and aligning technical execution with company goals
• Ensure
  - functional coordination with Product, QA, Industrialization and Program to remove blockers and deliver on time
• Establish and enforce engineering processes for peer reviews, gated releases, BOM validation, and documentation standards
• Monitor quality and reliability KPIs, driving accountability on test coverage, defect resolution, and
  - release stability
• Support career growth and team structure, identifying needs, gaps and helping team members evolve into stronger individual contributors and leads
• Drive continuous improvement, reducing technical debt and improving delivery predictability across embedded and electronics pipelines

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Solid background in Electronics and Embedded Systems Engineering, with strong understanding of schematics, PCB design, and firmware integration
• Proven experience leading technical teams, ideally across both hardware and firmware domains in a
  - paced product development environment
• Track record of delivering
  - grade electronics systems, not just prototypes — with ownership of validation and release cycles
• Strong
  - level thinking, able to align architecture decisions, risk mitigation, and timelines across multiple hardware components
• Hands-on understanding of quality gates, test strategies (Fi
  L/HIL), BOM validation, and
  - readiness best practices
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to interface with multiple teams and manage execution clarity under pressure
• Fluency in English, written and spoken — this is our working language and critical for
  - team collaboration

It Would Be Great If You Would Also Have

• Experience with validation frameworks and automated testing setups (e. g. HIL rigs, Fi
  L environments, test orchestration tools)
• Background working on connected or
  - deployed hardware systems, such as Io
  T devices, industrial controls, or smart infrastructure
• Familiarity with hardware release processes at scale, including ECNs, BOM structuring, versioning and field support coordination
