We are in search of a Head of Field Services to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in owning the strategy, processes, and results of our distributed
- service operations, ensuring every Bloq. it locker in Europe performs at peak reliability while delighting customers and partners.
What Will Be Your Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and scale the Field Service Agents network—internal teams and external partners—creating a culture of safety, quality, and ownership.
- Design and refine processes for deployment and maintenance field agent support,
- fix support and locker activation of a rapidly growing fleet of Io
T-enabled smart lockers. - Establish robust availability & coverage, ensuring field coordination and no gaps in field agents support.
- Manage exceptional flow -
- on processes from operational or technical issues to ensure successful service thereafter. - Partner with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to translate field feedback into firmware, hardware, and process improvements.
- Oversee budget and capacity planning for
- country operations, balancing cost, service excellence, and scalability.
- 7 + years of experience running
- scale
- service or operations teams (hundreds of distributed technicians) in Io
T, telecom, vending, or similar industries. - Demonstrated success managing fleets of connected devices—monitoring health, coordinating remote diagnostics, and driving rapid
- site resolution. - Proven ability to build and optimize processes using CMMS/field-service-management platforms and data analytics.
- Strong
- leadership skills, including hiring, performance management, and coaching across multicultural, geographically dispersed teams. - Experience with
- improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and a track record of measurable KPI gains. - Excellent communication and
- management skills, comfortable interfacing with executives, customers, and frontline staff. - Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with Io
T monitoring platforms and

- management tooling. - Proficiency in managing services across European markets (e. g. , Germany, France).
- Certification in
- service,
- management, or
- chain disciplines.
