Head of Global Cybersecurity & Information Security

Senior IT leader sought to oversee all aspects of cybersecurity and information security across the organization.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and shape the company’s cybersecurity and information security strategy in alignment with risk management goals.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an
  - wide cybersecurity roadmap, policies, and standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
• Ensure compliance with major international standards and regulations.
• Collaborate across functions to integrate cybersecurity into the
  - wide risk framework.
• Manage the implementation and operation of security tools.
• Lead incident response processes, including investigation, resolution, and reporting.
• Continuously monitor and address security events and vulnerabilities.
• Establish and enforce cybersecurity governance and compliance procedures throughout the organization.
• Promote a strong security culture through effective training and communication initiatives.
• Oversee
  - party and vendor security risks to ensure they meet contractual and regulatory standards.

Required experience and skills:

• Good knowledge of standards and regulations including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, IEC 62443, etc.
• Extensive cybersecurity experience with a strong background in senior leadership.
• Industry-recognized certifications (e. g. , CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
