Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Head of Global Marketing to join and lead our marketing department. You will report directly to the CEO in developing and executing the company’s global marketing and brand strategy, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and effective brand presence across all markets. This role bridges strategic brand management, commercial execution, and educational marketing within the highly regulated pharmaceutical cannabis industry.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
• Lead an international team and collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Operations and Executive Management to drive brand awareness, market growth, and corporate reputation worldwide.
• Develop and implement the Global Marketing Strategy, aligned with the company’s strategic and commercial goals. ;
• Establish and manage Global Brand Strategy and Positioning globally, ensuring alignment with medical and regulatory standards;
• Design and oversee Regional Marketing Strategies for core markets (e. g. , Germany, Australia);
• Lead Marketing Budget Planning and resource allocation to optimize ROI;
• Contribute to Commercial Strategy with marketing input and readiness planning.
• Translate the company’s mission into compelling, compliant messaging for healthcare professionals, patients, and partners
• Oversee global brand partnerships
Market & Business Insights
• Lead Market Research initiatives and Competitor Analysis to support

• Track industry trends and evolving regulations to anticipate strategic opportunities.
Brand Management & Communications
• Oversee all Company Marketing Materials, ensuring brand and regulatory consistency.
• Drive Brand Awareness globally through coordinated campaigns and media presence.
• Manage PR and Reputation Marketing, including media relations, corporate communications, and thought leadership.
• Lead Educational and KOL Campaigns.
• Develop and manage B2B2C Marketing and B2B Marketing strategies.
• Ensure cohesive storytelling across all internal and external communication touchpoints.
Digital & Growth Marketing
• Define and execute the company’s Digital Marketing Strategy, ensuring alignment with brand and compliance requirements.
• Lead Digital Project Development, including corporate websites, social media channels, and analytics tools.
Operational & Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor a multicultural global marketing team.
• Manage external vendors and agencies, ensuring efficiency and strategic alignment.
• Implement structured workflows for brand approval, artwork management, and campaign execution.
• Foster
- functional collaboration with Commercial, Regulatory, and Operations teams to ensure compliant success in all markets.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field;
• 10–15 years of progressive marketing experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior international marketing leadership role (global or regional scope).
• Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device or OTC, and medical cannabis industries required.
• Strong understanding of regulated communication, product launch processes, and
- stakeholder marketing.
• Proven track record in global product rollouts, brand building, and commercial enablement.
• Experience leading international teams and managing multiple agencies and partners.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Other European language is a plus.
Technical & Leadership Skills:
• Deep knowledge of healthcare marketing strategy, branding, and digital ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of educational and KOL engagement models.
• Skilled in market research, pricing strategy, and
