We’re partnering with a leading European pharmaceutical manufacturer, backed by a
- tier PE investor, to appoint a
- calibre Head of Group Accounting. As the business scales globally and accelerates operational investments, this role will be central to financial transformation, reporting excellence, and strategic value creation.

Joining at a pivotal moment in the company’s growth journey, you’ll lead all accounting and internal reporting activities across the group overseeing a global accounting teams. You’ll also play a critical role in tightening close processes, driving standardisation, and supporting investor reporting as the company prepares for an exit.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced accounting leader to step into a highly visible, strategic role with future CFO succession potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all internal and external accounting/reporting across the Group (Swiss GAAP).
• Own monthly and annual close processes;
  
  drive efficiency and accountability.
• Manage and develop the global accounting team
• Serve as a key liaison with the PE fund and the Board on financial reporting.
• Ensure robust accounting policies, controls, and audit readiness.
• Support M&A, due diligence, and exit preparation (IPO or trade sale).

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience leading accounting in a complex, international environment.
• Strong understanding of
  - end close processes, systems, and compliance.
• Experience managing or working closely with Shared Service Centres (a plus).
• Exposure to private
  - backed businesses and/or exit transactions.
• Leadership ability and communication skills to influence at C-suite/Board level.
• Accounting qualification (e. G. CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.
• Fluent in English.
