Pepco is building a
- new Technology Hub in Porto – a strategic investment designed to accelerate our digital transformation, strengthen our technology capabilities, and support our rapidly growing retail business across Europe.

To shape and lead this journey, we are now recruiting a Head of IT Operational Excellence – a senior,
- impact leadership role at the heart of our future IT organisation.

About the Role

As the Head of IT Operational Excellence , you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, governance, and excellence across our IT organisation. You will lead key areas including PMO, vendor & commercial management, quality, and enterprise architecture, ensuring our technology investments deliver measurable business impact. Working directly with the Group CIO and senior leaders across Finance, Procurement and the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure IT efficiency,
  - effectiveness, and continuous process improvement
• Lead governance, quality assurance, and
  - wide risk management
• Oversee the PMO to enable strong project execution and reporting
• Drive financial control and supplier risk management
• Develop enterprise architecture standards and
  - focused technology strategies
• Promote
  - driven
  - making and adoption of automation and AI
• Shape collaboration and communication across IT and business leadership
• Build and develop a
  - performing team in Porto and Poland.

Experience & Expertise

• 15+ years of IT leadership across key disciplines
• Proven success in improving IT processes and cost efficiency
• Strong background in PMO, governance, supplier management, and compliance
• Experience collaborating with Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and service management

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or Retail Management (Master’s preferred)
• ITIL, PMP, Lean Six Sigma or similar certifications are a strong plus

• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management
• Ability to influence and drive change in complex environments
• Data & analytics mindset, with a pragmatic

• Strong communication skills and collaborative leadership style
