Job Summary
As Head of Marketing & Communication, reporting to the Board, you will be responsible for strengthening and expanding Porto Business School’s brand, both nationally and internationally. You will develop and execute strategies that inspire prospective students, corporate partners, alumni, and society at large – positioning PBS as a benchmark in executive education and innovation.
Who We Are Looking For
Background in Business Schools or Higher Education: Proven experience in communication and marketing, ideally from an international business school or a globally recognized education institution, with a strong focus on digital transformation in education.
International Brand Builder: Strong track record of building and scaling brands in diverse markets, leveraging digital channels and platforms to maximize global visibility.
Digital Strategist & Innovator: Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing,
- driven
- making, marketing automation, social media, and analytics to ensure measurable impact and continuous optimization.
Strategic & Critical Thinker: Able to challenge assumptions, design bold strategies, and translate them into impactful execution across both traditional and digital landscapes.
Flexible & Adaptive: Thrives in a
- paced, ambitious environment with multiple stakeholders, embracing digital agility and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the communication and digital marketing strategy to elevate Porto Business School’s global reputation.
Develop integrated
- first campaigns that attract and engage diverse audiences across international markets.
Strengthen the PBS brand in international rankings, networks, and digital thought leadership platforms.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering creativity,
- driven insight, and ambition, with a strong emphasis on digital skills and tools.
Establish robust processes, governance, and digital systems (CRM, automation, analytics dashboards) that enhance efficiency and prepare the school for sustainable growth.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership, faculty, and corporate partners to communicate PBS’ vision and impact through innovative digital channels, storytelling, and content marketing.
