Role Overview

We are looking for a Head of Brand & Communication to lead Minga London’s global brand strategy and execution. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping how Minga shows up in the world, strategically, creatively, and culturally.

You will own launches, sales strategy, social direction, PR and influencer marketing, events and activations, collaborations, and 360° campaigns. This role requires someone who can think
- picture while staying deeply connected to the brand’s niche identity, community, and subcultural roots.

You must be an experienced leader, capable of aligning teams, partners, and agencies around a clear brand vision, while understanding what it means to build and protect a cult,
- mainstream brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead Minga’s overall brand and communication strategy across all channels and markets.
  • Own launch strategies, drop calendars, and sales moments (including seasonal sales, Black Friday, and special activations).
  • Set the strategic direction for social media, content, PR, influencer marketing, and community building.
  • Lead and oversee campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring consistency, impact, and cultural relevance.
  • Develop and execute PR, influencer, and collaboration strategies that feel authentic to Minga’s niche positioning.
  • Conceptualise and oversee events,
    - ups, activations, and experiential brand moments.
  • Work closely with
    - commerce, creative, design, and product teams to align brand storytelling with commercial goals.
  • Manage and mentor team leads and senior team members across brand, marketing, and communication functions.
  • Partner with external agencies, creatives, and collaborators while maintaining strong internal brand control.
  • Analyse performance, brand metrics, and cultural impact to continuously refine strategy.
  • Own and manage the brand marketing budget across influencers, campaigns, events, activations, and collaborations, ensuring efficient allocation and strong ROI.
  • Monitor and guide paid media content (creative direction, relevance, cultural fit), working closely with performance and media partners to ensure all paid outputs stay
    - brand, up to date, and effective.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in brand marketing, communication, or brand leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong background in fashion, lifestyle, or
    - driven brands, ideally within niche or subcultural spaces.
  • Demonstrated experience owning launch strategies, campaigns, and
    - channel brand initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of social media, influencer marketing, PR, and
    - led growth.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with creative instinct and cultural awareness.
  • Ability to balance brand integrity with commercial performance.
  • Experience working with agencies, collaborators, and external partners.
  • Experience managing and overseeing brand marketing budgets and evaluating spend versus impact.
