Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Specialist to join our Wealth Management division. Reporting to the COO of International Wealth Management, this role is vital in enhancing Alti's operational resilience to meet regulatory standards such as DORA, SEC/FINRA, FCA, SOX, and GDPR, ensuring the firm’s ability to deliver services during disruptions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational resilience, risk management, business continuity, ICT/cyber resilience, and relevant regulatory regimes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and governance of Alti's Operational Resilience, Regulatory Compliance frameworks, and continuity plans.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into policies, controls, and practices across business and technology domains.
- Manage regulatory readiness assessments, audits, and remediation efforts to ensure ongoing compliance with global standards.
- Serve as the lead for incident response, crisis management, and incident reviews, ensuring proper escalation, root cause analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Business teams to embed resilience into enterprise architecture, vendor management, and cloud strategies.
- Oversee
- party risk management, ensuring service providers meet resilience and security obligations. - Prepare and deliver reports on resilience, cyber risk, compliance, and audit findings to the Board and regulators.
- Monitor global regulatory developments and update internal frameworks and training accordingly.
- Promote a culture of compliance and resilience through training and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience in operational resilience, regulatory compliance, or cybersecurity within financial services or wealth management.
- Proven leadership in security governance, regulatory implementation, and risk management, reporting to C-Level executives.
- Deep knowledge of DORA, NIS2, SEC/FINRA, FCA, SOX, GDPR, and other global regulations.
- Experience translating regulatory requirements into controls and operational practices.
- Strong background in IT service continuity, incident response,
- party risk, and data protection. - Experience with executive and regulatory reporting, including dashboards, audit documentation, and compliance briefings.
- Familiarity with resilience and audit platforms such as Fusion, Archer, and Service
Now. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and work with technology teams on resilience strategies.
- Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, CBCI/AMBCI/MBCI, ISO 22301/27001 are advantageous.
