Overview

Head of Product role at Smartex. ai . We are seeking a
- skilled and experienced Head of Product to lead and scale our Product Development. This person will report to the CEO and be part of the Leadership team, owning the conversion of the commercial strategy into a clear product vision & strategy, and establishing disciplined product development processes to deliver a great product under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the CEO to convert commercial strategy into a product vision & strategy.
• Lead the
  -
  - end product lifecycle: strategy, roadmap, requirements, development, and launch — while owning strategy & vision, GTM, and roadmap.
• Support the creation of technical product specifications and translate business goals into executable engineering tasks.
• Work directly with engineers on system architecture, defining specifications and feature development.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the product development process, ensuring alignment, speed, and quality.
• Support and create the structure for proper user research and discovery efforts, ensuring customer insights drive
  - making.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide strategy and identify opportunities.
• Drive stakeholder management across the company, balancing business, technical, and customer priorities.
• Mentor and support growth within Product Management and Product Design , setting clear goals and creating strong career paths.
• Define and track success metrics for overall product health, OKRs and respective KPIs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Brand, and Customer Success to connect product development with customer needs and market positioning.
• Own

  - market activities, including product positioning, messaging, and launch readiness in partnership with Sales and Brand.
• Ensure products are built for scalability and growth, from technical robustness (performance, reliability, integrations) to commercial readiness (adoption, expansion, and market fit).
• 7–10+ years of Product Management experience , with a strong track record of building and scaling impactful products.
• Leadership experience in managing and growing product functions, ideally spanning both Product Management and Product Design.
• Strong background in pre-PMF products is a strong plus.
• Strong background in software and ML-powered products ; familiarity with hardware is a strong plus.
• Strong background in B2B Industrial products is a strong plus.
• Proven experience in user research and product discovery .
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and
  - functional collaboration .
• Hands-on experience in defining and running product development processes - SDLC .
• Analytical mindset with ability to define, track, and act on success metrics .
• Strong communication skills , able to collaborate with both technical and
  - technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience building and launching industrial products that integrate into existing processes or enable new ones, with a track record of delivering measurable ROI for customers .

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of Product Management experience with a track record of building and scaling impactful products.
• Leadership experience in managing and growing product functions, ideally spanning both Product Management and Product Design.
• Strong background in software and ML-powered products ; familiarity with hardware is a strong plus.
• Strong background in B2B Industrial products is a strong plus.
• Proven experience in user research and product discovery .
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and
