- end (Accounting & Reporting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Audit/Compliance) while partnering closely with Operations, Product, Hardware, and D&M (Deployment & Maintenance). You’ll institutionalize unit economics across hardware, software (Saa
S), and field services, strengthen our operating cadence, and ensure we scale sustainably across multiple European markets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own finance strategy and operations across EU entities: monthly close, consolidated reporting, FP&A, treasury, cash forecasting, tax/VAT, and external audit;
- Build scalable systems & controls by maturing ERP and P2P/OTC processes;
- Implement policies for revenue recognition (Saa
S, hardware, services), inventory & standard costing, Cap
Ex vs. Op
Ex, and internal controls; - Institutionalize unit economics & pricing by modelling

- serve and margin by product (lockers, Drop, software, D&M), customer and market. Drive pricing/discount governance and measurable margin expansion; - Optimize payables/receivables, inventory turns, vendor terms, and instruments (LCs, factoring, RCF, venture debt). Support project financing for large deployments;
- Partner with the CEO on equity/debt raises, banking relationships, board materials, and KPI storytelling. Manage cap table, ESOP, and covenant compliance;
- Ensure IFRS and Portuguese GAAP alignment, EU VAT/withholding, transfer pricing, insurance coverage, and contractual risk review in partnership with Legal;
- Establish a WBR/MBR and quarterly planning cadence tightly linked to company OKRs.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 10+ years of finance leadership (CFO/VP Finance), ideally in Enterprise B2B, hardware + Saa
S/Io
T or
- heavy
- ups (€100M+ revenue); - Proven track record building FP&A and
- economics frameworks (standard/ABC costing, BOM and
- cost models, margin waterfalls, LTV/CAC, cohort analysis); - Implemented or scaled ERP and BI stacks (e. g. , Net
Suite/SAP/Odoo + Power BI/Looker/Tableau); automation of P2P, OTC, and close processes; - Experience raising capital and managing debt facilities (venture debt/RCF/asset-backed), covenant management, and bank/investor relations;
- Exceptional business partnering & communication, comfortable from shop floor to boardroom; ability to translate operational drivers into financial outcomes;
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
It would be great if you would also have:
- Exposure to Io
T fleet economics (device uptime,
- roll reduction, parts & warranty dynamics) and operational
- heavy business models; - Experience with EU incentives/grants and R&D tax credits;
- Background in
- chain/contract manufacturing finance and
- based deployment models.
