As Head of Sales at Assembly, you will drive our commercial growth and build the organizational structure that enables scale. You’ll be responsible for designing the sales vision, developing
- performing teams, and establishing the systems, processes, and culture needed to expand our presence across Europe and beyond. This is a leadership role for someone who combines strategic foresight with operational excellence, a builder who creates the frameworks, talent, and discipline behind sustained growth. Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy & Market Expansion
- Define and execute Assembly’s sales strategy across key markets.
- Position Assembly as the premier partner for brands seeking premium, fast, and sustainable merchandise solutions.
- Act as a visible industry leader, representing Assembly in key client meetings, panels, and industry events.
- Collaborate with
- functional leaders to align growth strategy with production, design, and operations. - Client Acquisition & Growth
- Identify and pursue
- potential enterprise accounts through a consultative,
- oriented approach. - Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, balancing outbound strategy with inbound demand.
- Drive new client acquisition while maximizing expansion within existing accounts.
- Sales Leadership & Enablement
- Build, lead, and mentor a
- performing,
- market sales organization focused on excellence, collaboration, and accountability. - Define team structure, hiring roadmap, and performance frameworks to support
- term scalability. - Create a culture of continuous improvement, coaching, and empowerment within the commercial team.
- Implement consistent processes for forecasting, performance tracking, and pipeline management.
- Performance & Collaboration
- Establish and track KPIs for pipeline, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
- Partner with product, operations, and marketing teams to align sales initiatives with overall business priorities.
- Provide market intelligence and client insights to inform strategy and innovation.
- Track sales performance, report on pipeline activity, and provide regular updates to the SVP of Revenue & Operations.
- 7 - 15 years of B2B sales and business development experience, ideally in apparel, textiles, branded merchandise, or adjacent industries.
- Proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals and scaling sales revenue.
- Proven experience in building and leading sales teams, with a track record of scaling revenue sustainably.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and strategic selling skills.
- Strong strategic and organizational thinking; ability to design and manage sales structures that support growth.
- Consultative communicator able to influence at C-level and build
- based relationships - Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a
- growth environment - Deep understanding of how brands approach merchandise, sourcing, and production partnerships
- Existing network of contacts with fashion, lifestyle, and consumer brands.
- Knowledge of sustainable manufacturing practices, merchandising trends, and global supply chain dynamics.
- Experience leading international sales expansion in Europe or other global markets.
- Skilled in CRM systems (Hub
Spot preferred) and comfortable with performance reporting. - Health insurance coverage.
