Health And Safety Manager
CTS Group SA is looking for an experienced, innovative, and resourceful professional to join our team in our office in Lisbon. This position is a

Qualifications:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a health and safety role within the construction industry, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Portuguese HSE legislation and construction safety regulations is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e. g. , NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent Portuguese qualifications).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to travel frequently across construction sites throughout Portugal.

- solving abilities. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems.
We are looking for someone who:
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety policies, procedures, and systems across all sites in Portugal.
- Ensure compliance with all Portuguese health, safety, and environmental (HSE) laws and regulations.
- Develop
- specific safety plans, including
- risk activity procedures (e. g. , electrical works, confined spaces, crane operations, and hot works). - Conduct detailed risk assessments for critical systems installation (HVAC, electrical systems, fire suppression, etc. ).
- Collaborate with construction managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure proper safety planning for complex technical installs.
- Manage controls for clean room protocols, live environments, and raised floor environments.

- ins to live systems. - Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement preventative measures.
- Train and support site managers and workers in safe work practices, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain documentation such as risk assessments, safety plans, training records, and incident logs.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and subcontractors on all HSE matters.
- Promote a positive safety culture, encouraging reporting and ongoing education at all levels.
- Stay current with HSE best practices, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring timely updates to policies and procedures.
