We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering squad, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex modern web applications, collaborating with
- end teams to create mocks, define payloads, and contracts.

Your primary focus will be on developing RESTful web services, working with SQL/No
SQL technology such as Postgre
SQL, My
SQL, Dynamo
DB, Redis, and understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls.

You will also have the opportunity to work with
- driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka, Rabbit
MQ, SNS, and possess an
- depth understanding of their use cases and pitfalls.

In this role, you will be accountable for your decisions and possess a high level of ownership over the products you deliver. You must be seen as one of the technical references by your team and take ownership of some critical features, perform
- request reviews, actively take part in all the architectural decisions of the squad, and mentor less experienced developers.

Main Requirements:

• A true team player who loves working towards both team and individual goals with at least 5 years of experience in web development.
• Experience designing and developing complex modern web applications.
• Experience in developing RESTful web services collaborating with front end teams to create mocks, define payloads, and contracts.
• Experience with at least two different programming languages such as Go, Scala, Kotlin, or Java.
• Experience with SQL/No
  SQL technology such as Postgre
  SQL, My
  SQL, Dynamo
  DB, Redis, understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls.
• Experience dealing with
  - driven architectures and message brokers such as Kafka, Rabbit
  MQ, SNS, etc. , and an
  - depth understanding of their use cases and pitfalls.
• Experienced in implementing prototypes and in practices and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for
  - out features to production.
• Experience applying computer science fundamentals:
  
  data structures, algorithm design,
  - solving, and complex analysis.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking.
• Experience with microservices and high volume distributed systems.
• Experience with Cloud-based architectures in the AWS.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• You have the ability to work both autonomously and collaborate in a team environment.
