- qualified Homeroom teacher for our English stream to start August 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Multiple Subjects: Deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as Science, Mathematics, and English to students in Grades 1 to 5.
- Student Engagement: Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best while fostering a love for learning.
- Differentiated Instruction: Cater lessons to the diverse needs of students, providing personalized learning support.
- Behavior Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment, ensuring student safety and respect.
- Assessment and Feedback: Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Pastoral Care: Promote the general
- being and personal growth of students, fostering a nurturing learning atmosphere. - Technology Integration: Incorporate modern technology into teaching to enhance student engagement and learning experiences.
- Extracurricular Involvement: Support school life beyond the classroom, participating in trips, clubs, and enrichment activities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Qualified Teaching Credentials: A recognized teaching qualification (such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with specialization in Primary or Elementary Education, particularly in international curricula like IB PYP or Cambridge Primary.
Subject Expertise: Strong content knowledge across multiple subjects, particularly in English, Mathematics, and Science, with the ability to deliver these subjects effectively to
- age students.
Experience with Differentiated Learning: Demonstrated experience in applying differentiated instruction to accommodate the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students from varied cultural backgrounds.
Classroom Management Skills: Excellent classroom management abilities to maintain high standards of behavior, discipline, and safety, creating a positive learning environment.
Pastoral Care and Well-being: A nurturing approach to student welfare, with the ability to provide pastoral care and contribute to the emotional and social
- being of students.
Assessment and Feedback Mastery: Proficiency in using both formative and summative assessments to track student progress, with the ability to provide constructive, timely feedback to students and parents.
Technological Fluency: Experience integrating educational technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes, including tools like interactive whiteboards and learning management systems.
Collaborative Approach: Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to achieve common educational goals.
Commitment to Professional Development: A commitment to continuous professional development, staying updated on educational trends, new technologies, and innovative teaching methodologies.
Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and sensitivity to working in a diverse, multicultural environment, understanding the needs and backgrounds of international students.
