Based in Lisbon and soon expanding to Porto, our services extend from sourcing and managing properties, ensuring guest experience, compliance and maintenance.
As a young and dynamic company, we are looking for an energetic,
- tasking,
- thinking individual, with a “can do” attitude, and a good sense of humour to join our growing team. You should be organised, able to work independently but also in a team environment.
At least 3 year’s experience in the service industry is required, and opening of a new property experience is an advantage. Our service to tenants and guests is of utmost importance to us, to maintain the Mirabilis standard.
As our new operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing an organising the daily operations and business aspects of our new project in the city of Porto.
This hospitality project consists of 13 serviced apartments in the heart of Porto city.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Planning:
- Provide strong leadership and direction for the project, set clear goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve Mirabilis’s objectives and drive growth.
- Manage and organise staff responsibilities.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily operations of the project, including front office, house keeping, sales and maintenance.
- Ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Participate in hiring and managing local service providers.
Performance Management:
- Help set key performance goals for the project.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to management.
- Identify performance issues and propose implementation strategies for improvement.
Communication and Relationships:
- Communicate effectively with guests, landlords and management.
- Resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Policy and Procedure Development:
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Strategic Alignment and Goal Setting:
- Ensure alignment between business goals and project performance.
- Propose clear expectations and goals to management.
Skills and experience
- English and Portuguese speaking and communication is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good at problem solving.
- Self-motivated and able to work alone and in a team.
- Ability to take on a variety of tasks.
- IT skills – Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Highly organised and reliable.
- Trustworthy and solid integrity.
- Good time management.
- Active listening skills.
