Vendôm is delighted to offer an exclusive opportunity for a Hotel Manager (M/F) to oversee the opening and operations of a new boutique resort in the much sought after Comporta region, Portugal.

About the property

Situated on a pristine 27ha estate in the heart of Comporta, this privately owned boutique resort near completion offers understated luxury among 15 private cabanas and villas, nestled in wild nature, only 15 minutes away from the 45km stretch of white sand beach along the Ocean. This intimate, sensual, and preserved haven is set to become a favourite for discerning travellers seeking new emotions, reconnection with nature, serenity, authenticity, and discreet beauty.

Desired profile

• A strong background in hospitality, ideally in 4*+ or 5* resorts, with a solid foundation in room operations (Front Office, Rooms Division).
• First-time GM candidates are welcome (e. g. , former Director of Rooms or Front Office Manager), provided they are highly autonomous,
  - on, and genuinely resourceful in a remote and evolving environment.
• Previous pre-opening or opening experience strongly appreciated.
• Comfortable working in a remote,
  - immersed environment (on-site accommodation provided)
• Fluent in Portuguese and English a must
• Knowledge/experience of Comporta region, a huge plus
