House Host at Locke Hotels

Locke Hotels is a design‑led hospitality brand creating spaces where guests can be themselves. From front desk to back office, we build a community of culturally curious guests and staff.

The role

As a House Host, you’ll be a key member of the reception team and the face of the Locke brand, ensuring guests feel at home from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

• Provide a seamless, welcoming experience for guests, creating moments that encourage repeat visits.
• Act as the go‑to person for guests, contractors, and visitors, and manage inquiries across email, phone, and in‑person.
• Be an authority on local happenings and share new ideas that enrich the guest experience.
• Handle reservations, queries, and online booking systems with a can‑do attitude.
• Support the management team in keeping apartments fresh and in liaising with contractors and suppliers.
• Take payments, reconcile the books at day‑end, and look for revenue and occupancy upselling opportunities.
• Participate in meetings, development sessions, and contribute to team culture.

Work schedule

40 hours per week with flexible location, days, and hours—including weekends and bank holidays in operations. Flexibility may be ad hoc or permanent.
