Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the operational management of all Housekeeping functions and may be assigned to manage accommodation areas, public areas (day/night), crew areas, or pool areas. This position provides direct support to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager in ensuring the division’s objectives are met and the

- day operations in accommodation, pool, public, and crew areas are maintained to standard.

Housekeeping Supervisors possess a keen understanding of the importance of exceptional service to ensure complete guest and team satisfaction while providing strong leadership to all team members. In accordance with Royal Caribbean International’s Royal Way, each employee conducts themselves in a professional and courteous manner, including physical and verbal interactions with guests, fellow employees, or in the presence of guests and employees.

Hiring Requirements:

• Minimum one year of Housekeeping Supervisory experience in a large 4- or 5-star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line, or related hospitality industry, with demonstrated experience supervising a team of at least 10 employees.
• Extensive knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, safety procedures, equipment use, personal protective equipment, and job safety analysis related to chemicals, lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment, and garbage removal.
• Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate various software packages such as Excel, Word, or related company programs (SQM, OCIMS, Fidelio, LGA, Medallia, Kronos, etc. ).

Language Requirements:

• Good knowledge of the English language is required.
