Pack Europe.
We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our international Group, playing a key role in developing our team and business strategies across Portugal and 3-4 other countries, either within or outside Europe.
The ideal candidate will possess strong advisory and interpersonal skills, demonstrate motivation and a proactive approach, and thrive in an international team environment. You will identify and meet the needs of management and employees, implement HR processes and programs, and work closely with HR Operations, the HR Competence Center, and your HR Business Partner colleagues. Daily interactions will include management, finance, and administrative support from an HR Associate.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Aligning HR strategies with business goals through collaboration with higher management.
- Resolving complex employee relations issues and grievances.
- Consulting with management and staff to improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
- Providing HR policy guidance and ensuring legal compliance.
- Monitoring workforce and succession planning metrics.
- Analyzing HR trends and metrics.
- Identifying training needs and evaluating training programs.
- Advising on talent acquisition, performance issues, absence management, and litigations.
- Serving as the first contact for labor inspections, health & safety, legal matters, etc.
- Defining and improving HR policies and processes.
- Handling legal and administrative tasks, including employment documents and collective agreements.
- Managing CSR reporting and audits.
- Implementing HR programs and projects such as talent management, employee surveys, and annual reviews to support growth and efficiency.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience.
- Knowledge of Portuguese labor law.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Customer-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solution-oriented, analytical, and capable of working under pressure.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional languages like Spanish are a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Proficient in IT tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and preferably SAP Success
