Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Country Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day HR operations within a specific region. This role involves ensuring legal compliance, coordinating with regional leaders, and implementing HR policies and procedures. You will play a key role in nurturing a positive working environment and supporting our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily HR operations and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with central headquarters and regional leaders to implement HR policies.
- Manage HR functions including hiring, interviewing, administering pay, benefits, and leave.
- Support recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
- Develop and monitor local HR strategies and systems in line with global procedures.
- Maintain a strong employer‑employee relationship and ensure legal compliance.
- Manage the HR department’s country budget and handle workplace investigations.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Requirements:
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Professional HR certification (e. g. , SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, SPHR) is advantageous.
- HR Functional Knowledge: Expertise in specific HR functions relevant to the role.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees and management.
- Problem‑Solving: Aptitude for addressing employee issues and finding practical solutions.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize tasks, manage time, and maintain records.
- Compliance: Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy.
- Initiative: Proactive approach to improving HR processes and programs.
Education:
- Degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
