HR Assistant – Learning Specialist (M/F)

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Learning Specialist to join the Human Resources Operations – Resorts team.

The Pestana Hotel Group is the largest Portuguese hotel group with more than 100 hotels in 16 countries across three continents.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct operational training needs analysis.
• Coordinate and implement an operational training plan in alignment with the Group’s learning strategy and local business priorities.
• Design, organise, and facilitate in‑person training sessions for operational teams.
• Manage relationships with training providers and oversee administrative processes (contracts, attendance, reporting).
• Monitor learning KPIs (training hours, participation rate, completion rate) and report progress.
• Support hotel openings and transformation projects within operations.

Key Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Portuguese.
• A degree in Human Resources or Education.
• Proven experience delivering and facilitating training sessions, ideally within hospitality or service industries.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills across different levels of the organisation.
• Proactive, hands‑on and detail‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work autonomously in a multicultural environment.
• Availability for frequent travel.
