You will be responsible to:
As a HR Controller, to provide a business partnering function, supporting Finance and the business. Defining and implementing business processes that assess overall performance, identify business drivers, benchmark against relevant KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and promote business process optimization. Define and produce timely and challenges reports that address performance against budget, profitability, cost, efficiency and risk.
Main Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develops standard methodologies in alignment with Finance for the ongoing management of staff cost planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Aligns headcount actuals, planning, and headcount cost estimation with the respective stakeholders, in order to deliver the budgeting and forecast processes.
- Prepares budgets, forecasts and reports related to the employment costs of the company.
- Estimates annual costs and related to salary increases and bonus is the key point of contact for the accruals process.
- Act as key user on process / system related personnel cost and headcount.
- Lead improvement process on our systems to optimize the data related workforce planning, personnel costs, and headcount.
- Develops calculations for fringe rates, contributions for company locations globally.
- Performs financial analysis and provides financial impacts for changes to HR benefit and compensation programs, as needed.
Systems:
- Interfaces between HR and Finance systems enabling and efficient budget and forecast processes.
- Understands the staff costs´ structures, including payroll, across the organization, and the specific features of each location and how it integrates into financial data.
Cost Control:
- Manages and controls departmental expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and
- saving measures, identifying areas of improvement and carrying out a regular deviation analysis.
Compliance:
- Ensures compliance with financial policies, procedures and regulatory requirements (including IFRS).
- Guarantees that adequate controls are imbedded in and adhered to for all HR related accounting and finance processes and that with third parties (if applicable) all Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements are met related to HR processes.
- Assists and participates in special projects, as needed.
- Single point of contact for data in alignment with current data governance process, as needed.
- Produces and delivers standard (monthly, quarterly and annual) reports / scorecard as well as
- hoc reports. - Creates and presents executive level presentations.
- Works with key internal and external stakeholders including HR and Finance Teams, and external consultants.
- Executes professional activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements as well as promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione´s policies, systems and procedures (COPs, HBR, SOPs and others).
- Carries out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with environmental, health & safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice.
We are looking to recruit a Candidate:
- CVs in English please
- 8 to 12 years of experience in a HR Controlling position.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting policies and procedures for Payroll, Benefits as well as knowledge of the respective systems used (Excel, Power BI, SAP HR, SAP FIN, Qlick
View, People
Fluent, etc). - Experience in budget planning for
- sized companies. - Proficient at analyzing data and providing insights for
- making with an analytical mindset. - Integrity of confidential information.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and cross functionally.
