Job Description

Mission

Comply with the country's risk prevention regulations and other reference standards, both international and internal, integrating health and safety at all levels and areas of the company, as well as managing preventive activities and measures.

Main Responsibilities

- Updating and developing the Prevention Plan, and those procedures and protocols necessary for this.

- Verify compliance with legal obligations, internal procedures, safety inspections, both internal and external audits, that are applicable to the Company.

- Promotion of preventive culture, through the definition of annual objectives and definition of training plans, among other measures.

- Preparation of the company's Annual Planning, as well as the annual reports.

- Advice to the company in work inspections on preventive matters, or before any organization that requires the company in this matter.

- Carry out risk assessments in the company's different work centers, as well as supervise those that could be carried out by the External Prevention Service.

- Define the necessary preventive and/or corrective measures derived from risk assessments, safety inspections or audits, integrating them into action plans.

- Monitoring of action plans.

- Preparation of technical reports.

- Represent the company in external and internal audits.

- Organization and monitoring of the coordination of business activities with the company's external contractors, maintaining the meetings and the necessary dialogue for this.

- Investigation of work accidents, and
- up.

- Prepare and manage the area's annual budget.

- Management of suppliers in your area (health & safety services, auditors, etc. )

- Design of the Training Plan on Health & Safety, as well as provision of technical training.

Requirements

Occupational Health & Safety certification.

Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Previous experience

- Experience un audits

- Experience in coordinating activities with contractors
