Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with payroll providers across Europe and North America, ensuring timely payments and effective troubleshooting.
- Administer benefits, enroll employees, answer inquiries, and relay feedback.
- Facilitate employment contract issuance and signing for new hires, supporting HR and Legal teams with template updates.
- Collaborate with HR Operations teammates to create and implement payroll systems, benefits suites, and jurisdiction‑specific policies for new entities.
- Onboard and offboard employees from payroll systems.
- Partner with Finance to guarantee data integrity and a seamless flow of payroll‑related information.
- Optimize payroll and benefits processes through new automations or integrations (HRIS, ATS, payroll portals).
- Research and communicate labor law regarding compensation, taxes, and paid leave to maintain compliance across jurisdictions.
- Perform salary, bonus, and benefits optimization projects to keep our compensation packages competitive and value‑driven.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in an HR Operations or Payroll/Benefits role, supporting employees in multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, taxes, and common benefits with the ability to learn new jurisdictions quickly.
- Experience managing relationships with multiple external service providers and/or payroll providers.
- Organisational and time‑management skills, prioritising tasks effectively under pressure.
- Deep curiosity for digital assets and financial services, making decisions that add value to our business and talent strategy.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with teammates and stakeholders, whether remote or onsite.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational delivery, conceptualising and executing programmes or events.
- Fluency in English (our working language).
- Experience with Notion or HRIS (Hi
Bob) is a strong plus. - Operationalising automation/AI tools is a strong plus.
