Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal to provide financial services for Air Liquide European entities. In 4 years it expanded to over 400 employees across 3 office locations – Lisbon, Tomar and Guarda. The geographical scope was extended to include, besides European affiliates, also entities in Africa, Middle East and India. The operational scope now includes not just Finance, but also Human Resources.

Impact & Strategy
You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and quality service for thousands of Air Liquide employees, acting as the first line of support and resolving HR inquiries concerning processes and policies across all global entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Case ownership: efficiently resolve inquiries using knowledge base documents (FAQs, job aids) and maintain regular contact with employees and partners until the request is closed, strictly adhering to SLA commitments.
- Identify gaps in current documentation and suggest improvements to enhance our knowledge base.
- Educate users on navigating self‑help materials and system functionalities, contributing to continuous digitalization and optimization of HR processes.
- Escalate complex inquiries to the next level of support, ensuring the smooth operation of the global HR function.

Essential Qualifications
- Education: A university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Sociology or a related field.
- Experience: Relevant professional experience in a core HR function (e. g. , Employee Data Management, Payroll, Learning Support Services and Total Rewards Support Service). We encourage candidates at all levels of experience to apply.
- Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international collaboration. Additional proficiency in Portuguese, French, or Spanish is a significant advantage.
- Soft Skills: Ability to manage confidential data, impeccable attention to detail, proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a Global Business Services (GBS) or a global, matrixed organization.
- Experience in working with HR systems such as: Workday, SAP Success
Factors, or Oracle HCM. - Knowledge of HR process optimization methodologies and experience with HR function digitalization or the implementation of new system modules.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a complex, fast‑paced international business.
