We are seeking an HRIS Release Manager to lead the delivery, governance, and coordination of SAP Success
Factors and HR Payroll system releases for an international client.
The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP Success
Factors, HR/payroll systems, and release governance frameworks. Responsibilities include

- end release planning, vendor coordination, and compliance assurance, working across business and technology teams.
The role involves ensuring the controlled, secure, and efficient rollout of releases, maintaining GDPR compliance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration among IT, HR, and business stakeholders. Experience with French payroll and regulatory contexts is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage release cycles for SAP Success
Factors and SAP HR Payroll. - Lead change management procedures, including CAB approvals and impact assessments.
- Ensure GDPR compliance in data retention and purging.
- Coordinate with SAP vendors on service delivery and roadmap.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT to deploy updates and regulatory changes.
- Oversee UAT and resolve issues
- deployment. - Maintain release documentation, logs, rollback plans, and audit trails.
- Support global stakeholders with updates and expectation management.
- Use a structured release calendar for visibility and alignment.
- Identify automation and system optimization opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of HRIS release management experience, preferably with SAP Success
Factors or SAP HR Payroll. - Experience with full release cycles, including planning, testing, deployment, and support.
- Strong background in HR and payroll systems, especially in French regulatory contexts.
- Hands-on experience with SAP vendors, issue resolution, and release scheduling.
- Experience working in multinational,
- functional teams. - Knowledge of change governance procedures like CAB processes and impact analysis.
- Understanding of GDPR and data lifecycle management.
Location: Lisbon or Porto (Hybrid, Portugal-based)
Language: English mandatory; French is a plus.
