HR Specialist Lisboa

Overview

HR Specialist role at Tech Economy. The Specialist, Local HR independently carries out the processes within personnel administration to Lisbon GBS employees and management. The Specialist supports the operations associated with various HR processes throughout the employee life cycle, including hiring onboarding, engagements, departures (offboarding), job changes in the HR system, mobility and immigration, and compensation preparation. The Specialist, Local HR will apply HR global and GBS policies to the Portugal market place and legislation and advise on Employer Value Proposition according to local market trends. Work closely with the Director HR & Talent in execution of Talent Priorities for GBS Lisbon office.

Responsibilities

• Personnel administration: point of contact for employees, hiring managers, Recruiting Team and external vendors; administer personnel files under Portuguese labor law and Bain internal regulations; manage the full employee lifecycle; support other HR issues; update personnel data and manage the performance review cycle in Workday
• Hiring and onboarding: manage
  - employment processes including medical check requests and background screening; coordinate onboarding trainings
• Offboarding: maintain departure process per Bain policy and local legislation; lead exit interviews and report insights
• Compensation and benefits: payroll input preparation; analyze benefit data; administer benefits in systems; respond to inquiries; coordinate with external payroll providers; participate in process improvements; provide HR process expertise
• Other: collaborate with HR team members, Global HRBPs, Experience Talent Recruiting and Centers of Excellence; implement global HR priorities for GBS Lisbon

Qualifications

• University Degree (HR-focused education is an asset)
• Min. 5 years HR administration, personnel administration and payroll experience
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor law
• Advanced MS Excel, Power
  Point, and Word; experience with Workday or similar HR systems
• Proficient Portuguese and English (Bain’s communication language)
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a
  - paced environment
• Independent and
  - oriented; strong process management and attention to detail
• Discretion with highly confidential information; strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact and negotiate with external contacts as a Bain representative
• Positive,
  - solving, and continuous improvement approach
• Eligible to work in EU
