- oriented trainee to support the HSE & Sustainability team. This role offers
- on experience in environmental data analysis, sustainability reporting, and operational health & safety metrics.

Responsibilities

GHG Emissions Modelling

• Assist in collecting and validating activity data (e. g. , fuel consumption, flaring volumes, energy use).
• Support the refinement of GHG emissions models using recognized methodologies (e. g. , GHG Protocol, IOGP/IPIECA/API guidelines).
• Contribute to Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions assessments and reporting.
• Help maintain emissions inventories and track progress against reduction targets.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify emissions reduction opportunities.

HSE & Sustainability Reporting

• Track and consolidate key HSE & Sustainability performance metrics (e. g. , TRIR, LTIF, near misses, environmental incidents).
• Contribute to the development of dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the improvement of reporting tools and systems.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency, applying validation checks and resolving discrepancies with site teams.
• Assist in trend analysis and data visualizations.
• Participate in the preparation of sustainability disclosures aligned with frameworks such as GRI and TCFD.

Other responsibilities

• Help maintain and improve the HSE & Sustainability management system.
• Support the rollout of campaigns, workshops, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• Stay informed on relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English; additional knowledge of Portuguese or French is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other data analysis tools is a plus.
• Aware of regulatory requirements and HSE industry best practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with reporting & GHG accounting standards and HSE metrics is a plus.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data management skills.
• Proactivity, strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for safety, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
