We’re looking for an experienced HSE Specialist to join our team in Santa Maria da Feira (Portugal). You’ll lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across operations, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture.

What will you do?

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and programs in accordance with local legislation, international standards, and corporate requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, and hazard detection.
• Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and occupational health regulations.
• Provide training, awareness sessions, and safety briefings to employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and environmental events, preparing reports with corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct periodic inspections, audits, and emergency drills.
• Support project teams in integrating HSE requirements at all stages.
• Maintain

  - date records for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with authorities, certification bodies, and stakeholders on HSE issues.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the safety culture and reduce environmental impact.

Requirements:

• Proven HSE experience in industrial or engineering environments.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese .
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and international standards.
