Drive Systems is currently looking for a "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as an Human Resources Generalist our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Develop business partnership relationships with Management and employees through professional advisory advice and support to the Human Resources function
- Communicates effectively, establishes and maintains effective relationships between employees, as well as between employees and the various levels of management
- Demonstrates solid skills in problem identification and resolution, as well as skills in
- supplier/partner interaction - Supports the Product Leadership Culture, which defines Borg
Warner as a world leader in Propulsion Systems and retains the best talent in each area - Assists in relational counseling between employees, in the orientation of new employees, in outplacement/counseling and in the exit interview
- Promotes team progress, takes the initiative to take on challenging responsibilities and creates opportunities where none exist
- Coordinates the recruitment activity to ensure that the best talent is selected
- Creates an environment to support the continuous development of talent, using processes and continuous improvement
- Diagnose organizational development needs, implement effective solutions and build efficient teams.
- In partnership with other colleagues, identifies training needs and designs training programs that support organizational change management initiatives, as well as the knowledge and skills development needs of all
- house talent - In partnership with the Training area, it coordinates and conducts
- house training programs and assesses their effectiveness - Coordinates relocation and internal mobility activities
- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvements in department effectiveness and services provided
- Works on salary administration and benefit projects as required
- Leads employee activities and sponsored events
- Participates in and/or leads special group projects when required
- Develop a culture characterized by good professional ethics and involvement in the process among employees in all areas

Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management or a similar area
- Master's will be considered an asset
- 5 or more years of professional experience in Human Resources
- Domain of human resources management areas
- Very good knowledge of labor legislation
- Very good knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
