We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our
- opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q3 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital. It will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe and will be the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the bustling Baixa district along Rua Augusta, the hotel will comprise five buildings, including the historic Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). The hotel will feature 170 guestrooms and private suites across these buildings, providing an authentic Lisbon experience.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Human Resources Generalist to join our
- opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Employee Relations: Assist management with HR issues, address employee concerns, and facilitate transfer requests.
• Recruitment and Hiring: Support hiring processes, conduct applicant screenings, reference and background checks, and maintain applicant logs.
• Onboarding: Help orient new employees and integrate them into the hotel’s culture and operations.
• Record Maintenance: Create and manage personnel files, ensure legal compliance, and support payroll documentation.
• Training and Development: Assist with new hire training on HR policies and participate in HR projects as a subject matter expert.
• Compliance: Ensure recruitment processes adhere to company policies and legal standards.
• Administrative Support: Generate HR reports, manage filing systems, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong
  - solving, communication skills, and ability to foster positive relationships.
