Responsibilities

• In close cooperation with the Regional HR Director, adopt the wide HR strategy into local HR strategy plans and activities.
• Ensure the execution of the defined strategy and the implementation of appropriate tactics within HR.
• Work with local management to identify and plan for HR requirements to meet
  - term and
  - term business needs.
• Ensure the HR aspects of decisions made by management are advanced and discussed.
• Support managers in decisions regarding disciplinary actions, promotions, transfers and separations.
• Ensure recruitment of
  - quality employees. Develop and improve standard recruitment and selection procedures for the organization.
• Contribute to driving employee empowerment and satisfaction together with the management team; implement activities supporting the ideal company culture.
• Ensure that HR is close to the business and to employees’ needs, creating a good internal environment.

Qualifications

• Business degree specialized in Human Resources.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience, and at least 3 of them as HR business partners in the hospitality area.
• Experience in multinational companies and participation in international projects is preferred.
• Available for relocation within Portugal (continental & islands).
• Proactive and positive approach; very good
  - building and leadership capabilities.
• Very good and flexible communication and presentation skills to transfer culture to different levels in the organization.
• Problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• High level of Portuguese and English spoken and written.
