Human Resources Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced HR Manager to join our multinational team based in Portugal. This role is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of HR operations and generalist functions, including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, legal compliance, and workforce administration. The successful candidate will act as a business partner, providing operational and advisory HR support to line managers and employees, while ensuring alignment with local labour legislation.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage

- day HR operations, including recruitment, selection, and the administration of employment contracts, salaries, and benefits.
• Ensure full compliance with Portuguese labour laws, including time and attendance management and occupational health obligations.
• Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries, policies, and workforce administration processes.
• Provide operational HR support and guidance to line managers on all
- related matters, fostering strong partnerships across departments.
• Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, promotions, internal transfers, and personal data updates.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and the updating of relevant HR and payroll databases.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychologist, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational or international business environment.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory.
• Sound understanding of Portuguese labour laws, legal compliance requirements, recruitment strategies, and employee relations.
• Demonstrated experience in payroll management, whether handled internally or through external service providers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• High degree of autonomy, proactivity, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a
