About the Role

We are seeking a High Voltage Electrical Maintainer to work within the Power Supply team. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Maintaining and improving high voltage assets, infrastructure, and distribution systems
2. Applying high voltage maintenance procedures and standards consistently
3. Identifying root causes of breakdowns and implementing corrective solutions
4. Operating high voltage assets to ensure continuous electrical supply to Boyne Smelter
5. Preparing, checking, and participating in high voltage switching procedures
6. Liaising with external power providers
7. Leading teams for specific tasks or projects as required
8. Working effectively both independently and within a team

Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates will have:

• A commitment to safety for yourself and your team
• Respect for others and an inclusive mindset
• An Australian 'A' grade Electrical licence
• Desirable: High Voltage Isolation and Access (HVIA) certification
• Experience in a heavy industrial environment
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Good computer skills, including SAP (desirable)
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
• High Voltage experience up to 275k
  V
• Familiarity with Honeywell Experion Control Systems
