Responsibilities
- Leading and managing a team of engineers: hire, train, and manage a team of virtualization professionals. Set goals and objectives, provide feedback, coach, develop team members, and manage performance.
- Developing Virtualization strategies aligned with Siemens Healthineers goals and objectives. Analyze current systems, identify gaps, and design solutions that optimize processes.
- Product development: manage product development activities including designing, architecting, and developing virtualization services to support Siemens Healthineers applications. Analyze business requirements and design related services/products accordingly.
- Managing virtualization budgets: optimize costs and ensure budgets are within constraints. Monitor expenses, identify
- saving opportunities, and manage vendor contracts. - Ensuring compliance: ensure Hybrid Cloud Virtualization related services comply with Siemens Healthineers IT compliance system.
- Managing operations: oversee

- day operations of the Hybrid Cloud Virtualization team, including incident response and implementation of change requests. - Documentation: ensure product documentation such as architectures, SOPs, and system designs are developed and maintained.
- Collaboration: work with other architects, Dev
Ops engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment of Hybrid Cloud solutions from development to production. - Staying current with emerging technologies: stay informed about virtualization platforms; research and evaluate new solutions, attend conferences, and network with professionals.
Candidate Profile
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with the following and would like to develop your career with Healthineers:
- You have a proven track record in designing and building virtualization solutions in both
- premises and cloud environments. - You are expert at requirement engineering, translating business language into technical solutions.
- You know how to work in an agile environment, scope and define work to provide transparency into progress and outcomes.
- You can interact with customers and stakeholders on eye level, establishing trust and managing timelines and commitments

Required skills
- Bachelor-'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Overall 15+ years of IT experience with the most recent 10 years in virtualization platforms.
- Deep knowledge of virtualization platforms: VMware v

Cloud Director, NSX-T, VMware Cloud Foundation, Microsoft Hyper-V, Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI), Azure VMware Solution, Red
Hat Open
Shift, Proxmox. - Experience managing and leading technical teams.
- Excellent
- solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Familiarity with ITIL and IT service management principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.
