Responsibilities

• Be part of the development team providing and implementing new solutions for new development projects
• Work closely with cross functional teams, in cooperation with international suppliers to provide optimum solutions
• Verify the rotor lock system by the mean of test and calculation methods
• Implement rotor system into production
• Drive VA/VE activities to optimize product cost to required performances
• Participate in estimating component life time
• Monitor performance of the rotor lock systems on all installed turbines to reduce the cost of poor quality
• Identify requirements to the rotor lock system from top level specifications
• Define interfaces to the other systems
• Design and specify components like cylinders, manifolds, pipes and fittings for extreme and fatigue loads

Competencies

• Load analysis and application
• Calculation and sizing of hydraulic components
• Design for manufacturing
• Quality development tools (requirements, DFMEA, verification, validation. . . )
• Problem solving skills.
