We are strengthening the Security & Architecture team of one of our key clients in the retail sector and are looking for an experienced IAM Architect to take on a strategic role in shaping and evolving their Identity & Access Management landscape.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and define
- scale Identity & Access Management architecture, ensuring alignment with business and technological requirements.

- Develop policies, models and processes for identity lifecycle management, provisioning, authentication and privileged access.

- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Development and Security teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications with IAM solutions.

- Ensure that all IAM platforms and processes comply with regulatory, audit and security standards relevant to the organisation and the sector.

- Act as a technical lead and
- matter expert, guiding internal teams on IAM best practices.

- Support training and awareness initiatives aimed at technical teams and
- users.

- Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies and methodologies in cybersecurity and digital identity.

Requirements

- Degree or Master's in Computer Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in complex systems and infrastructure.

- Solid professional experience as an IAM Architect or in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to design and implement scalable and secure identity solutions.

- Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols and technologies (e. G. , SAML, OAuth, Open
ID Connect).

- Hands‐on experience with cloud identity services (Azure, AWS or GCP), including permission models and access management.

- Good understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, NIST SP800‐53, NIS 2. 0, OWASP, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK or the ISO 27000 family.

- Excellent analytical skills, problem‐solving ability and attention to detail — critical for ensuring robust configurations, addressing authentication issues and avoiding security gaps.
