You will be representing the Instrumentation and Control Commissioning Group on worldwide project assignments. By commissioning the Siemens Energy scope on large scale projects i. e. , world class and low emission Power Plants, Grid Stabilizing Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems you actively contribute to the energy transition. Your contribution is of utmost importance to ensure
- free operation of Instrumentation and Control and Distributed Control System equipment supplied by Siemens Energy. In a multinational team on site, you will commission individual components or entire systems and ensure quality of our services. Feedback of
- site experience to the engineering teams ensures that our products are subject to continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Conduct cold and hot commissioning activities for industrial steam turbines and combined power plants, ensuring safe and reliable equipment operation.
• Oversee Instrumentation and Control systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
• Implement cyber security concepts, standards, and regulations within the operational framework.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to develop complex concepts and solutions independently.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, documenting problems and prioritizing resolutions based on impact.
• Commission and troubleshoot Profibus/Profinet and Industrial Ethernet components, including planning firmware updates and modernizing I&C turbine systems.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor's, Licentiate, or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Automation, Control Technology, Power Plant Technology, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and network technologies.
• Willingness to live and work abroad for extended periods, with a valid passport and driving license.
• Flexibility to travel worldwide, including to countries like Iraq, Bangladesh, and Saudi Arabia, often on short notice.
• Availability to work weekends and bank holidays as needed, with a high proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong critical thinking, communication skills, and a collaborative, resilient personality, with a commitment to contributing to energy transition efforts.
