- client solutions. In particular, we help multinational companies develop global/cross-border solutions that meet the needs of both local and headquarter management in the design, establishment, financing, operation, oversight and monitoring of their compensation and benefit programs around the world. In doing so, we work closely with our local offices in other geographies, as well as subject matter experts in other segments.
Our Global Benefits Management (GBM) business has a particular focus around the coordination of insured benefits, and also has the breadth to consider other Benefits and Total Reward aspects as demanded by our clients. The GBM business is one of the fastest growing areas of our business with an expanding marketplace and exciting, evolving client needs. As a Senior Consultant & Team Lead in our GBM delivery team, you will play a key part in this growth story, taking a team lead role in managing and mentoring a group of 15+ project managers delivering across multiple focus areas and geographies to some of our biggest multinational clients.
This role will be focused on managing a team delivering large, strategic client engagements and serving as consulting lead to multinational clients concerning their health and risk benefits globally. The home location of the role is intended to be Lisbon. There may be a need to travel as needed for client and internal business needs.
Responsabilities will be to:
- Lead, mentor and support team of 15+ GBM project managers and consultants delivering to clients, providing guidance and training to junior team members as needed
- Foster collaborative,
- performing team culture through regular meetings and activities, in office days - Workload and client distribution in fair manner and mindful of colleagues’ growth
- Prepare performance reviews & objective setting, salary increase recommendations during annual calibration
- Coach on global project delivery, leveraging GBM processes, deliverables, use of standardised templates
- Engage with people managers to provide coaching, address team challenges
- Oversee onboarding and training of new joiners
- Maintain stakeholder communication with leadership both locally and more broadly in IG
- Collaborate with Talent & Acquisition team, recruitment of new colleagues
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on
- functional and
- regional teams. - Provide clients with expertise and advice on global health, risk and other benefits.
- Establish a trusted relationship with clients and provide consistent, superior project delivery.
- Manage several large International consulting client engagements, develop plans for execution, ensure project manager are maintaining team progress against goals and timings
- Some sales and
- expansion goals, identify opportunities to
- sell new products and services on your client accounts
Qualifications
- Experience in managing teams, mentoring colleagues and fostering collaborative, team culture.
- Understanding of the nuances of working across borders, with different cultures and with multinational organizations.
- International benefits experience, preferably with health and risk benefits, across multiple countries.
- Fluent in English language (proficiency in other languages is a bonus).
- Ability to work both on their own and leading client teams, including virtual work teams with members in different geographic locations.
- The ability to deal positively with change, including guiding junior colleagues in changing environment.
- Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance driven environment managing colleagues, and client relationships having multiple project priorities.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in global compensation/benefits approaches and contributing to the development of new tools and approaches.
